Jim Henson is a Genius! (Kermit the Frog/Rainbow Connection)

I was born in the late 60s in America. If you had a household television in the 70's the Muppet Show was part of family viewing. I loved the show for Jim Henson's ability to create characters and persona out of stuffed colorful heads and voices. I learned this song in the 6th grade school chorus. The lyrics get a little bent with age and cynicism but I still love it every time I hear my favorite little green guy, Kermit, do his rendition.

The legend of Jim Henson lives on in the rays of light that follow every summer rain-shower I see. Thanks Jim for the Muppet Show and for so many wonderful laughs.
